I saw a meme this morning where someone was speaking to a friend, and said "What a week this has been." To which the friend replied, "It's Tuesday." With so much going on in the world right now, it often feels that way. But in my studio here in East Nashville it's always a perfect time for a sweet puppy portrait. This is Bella, and I did this for a client through my friend Ron York at York & Friends Gallery. He is very kind to have my pet portraits available in his gallery. I'm honored to be there.
So now I have to say that having a pet is a great thing. I don't talk about my cat much, but she is such a good companion. About every hour and a half she comes into the studio, meows (or yells) at me to give her some lap time. She'll jump up and sit in my lap for a few minutes, and it's a great break and stress reliever. Of course, I occasionally think she is just sizing up how to kill me, but I still like the company.
If you have a pet friend like that, a portrait is a great way to always have them with you. And it's that time of year to be thinking about Christmas. I'd be honored to do a portrait for you. Thanks, enjoy, and stay safe.
