One thing I have learned is that change is exciting, often fun, and that acclimation to the new environment takes time. I’ve been out of the studio and at my home studio for not quite three weeks, and it still feels a little out of sync. I’m working on a new pet portrait, but have not finished it, so no photos yet. In point of fact, being in the new space had me out of my comfort zone, and I literally started over. Looking back on the first effort, it wasn’t that bad; I just felt it was because of the changes. The new one is coming along fine, and hopefully will be finished in a couple of days. I’ll be sure to post it when finished.
In the meantime, now is a very good time to order your pet portrait. I know Christmas seems a long time off, especially when it’s hot as Hades outside, but it will be here before you know it, and I will need some lead time to get them done. In fact, I cut off new orders by December 1 to give me time to complete and ship by Christmas, so go ahead and order as soon as you can. These make truly unique and wonderful Christmas presents.
In the meantime, here’s another past portrait for your consideration. Thanks.
