Here in East Nashville, fall has finally arrived. Or as the local pundits would say, "false fall" because it will undoubtedly turn hot again in a couple of weeks. Nashville weather is weird.
Regardless of the weather, the studio is humming. I've got paintings in various stages every where. Sometimes getting them to the finished stage takes a long time. They always get finished, though.
Here's a portrait that is finished, and delivered. This is Cubby, and his portrait was a birthday present. I understand the birthday lady cried when she got it. That always makes me happy, which seems a bit sadistic to say, but of course the happiness is because the recipient loved the painting.
Just a reminder that these portraits make great Christmas presents, so order now. I won't take any orders after Thanksgiving so I can have enough time to do the best I can. In the meantime, thanks, enjoy, and stay safe.
