A new show of my pet portraits will be opening September 7, 2019, at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center in Shelby Park. For those of you who don’t know, the Nature Center is a beautiful building located at the head of the Shelby Bottoms Greenway, next to the Cumberland River. Shelby Park, which has been in the Nashville Parks system for over 100 years, is a treasure of East Nashville, and the Nature Center is the crown jewel. I’ll have a display of my pet portraits in the large room overlooking the river. The majority will be prints of some past portraits, but I will have a few originals to show how the actual paintings look.
I’ll be accepting commissions during the course of the show, and the prints will be for sale as well. The prints will be framed and ready for hanging. This show will give patrons a chance to see the work and make their orders for Christmas.
An opening reception will be September 7 from 4pm-7pm, with light refreshments. I personally invite you all to come out and see the work, meet with me and other wonderful East Nashvillians, and generally have a good time. Mark your calendars. Thanks.
